S&S is a fresh, innovative and creative talent agency prioritising personal relationships.
A London based talent agency representing actors, writers and directors. Samuel & Shaw is a merger between Kismet Gold and ASM Talent's acting division. We are in the process of creating and developing our own in-house film and TV productions.
At Samuel & Shaw, both Jason and Deborah pride themselves in being straight talking, on building long-term personal relationships with their clients and ensuring they have a collaborative long-term vision and plan for success in accordance with their individual strengths and goals. They aim to bring a problem-solving, proactive, and practical hands on approach to talent management.
Jason originally trained in law with a legal background, he completed his LLB law degree and then the Legal Practice Course specialising in elements of media & entertainment law and intellectual property rights. Following this he has been an agent at ASM Talent for over 10 years specialising in television & media management working with many UK household names and celebrities, over the last few years he has diversified into more production-based work including creating concepts & pilots for television & digital media including documentaries, sitcoms, dramas and short films. This has enabled him to build up a great contact base of broadcasters, commissioners, directors, producers and much more. Since establishing an acting arm within ASM Talent he has secured his acting clients a range of different work across screen and commercial platforms.
Deborah originally trained in sales before she became a publicist in the late 1980s for Lynne Franks PR. From 1993 to 2003, Deborah developed her career in Los Angeles where she worked as a celebrity assistant for veteran movie star before going on to work as a Talent Manager for seven years. Initially working for a small company, she then joined the prestigious John Crosby Management team and worked closely with clients such as Rene Russo, John Hurt, James Denton (Desperate Housewives), Orla Brady (BBC’s Mistresses). It was in this
role that Deborah met and signed Shia LaBeouf in her first month. Deborah was a member of BAFTA LA. On returning to London, she wrote and produced several corporate videos for clients but in 2015 she set up Kismet Gold agency in London and built up her client base of British and International talent.
